Meet Doula Mika
I believe that pregnancy, birth and postpartum are not only physical experiences, but deeply emotional and relational ones.
I am a doula based in Oslo, supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period - both in person in Norway and through online consultations worldwide.
My work is grounded in calm presence, emotional safety and continuity of care. I support women giving birth within the Norwegian maternity system, including hospital births, always with respect for medical care and personal choice.
Alongside my work as a doula, I have a background as a psychologist. This shapes the way I accompany women: with sensitivity to emotional processes, previous experiences, and the inner transitions that pregnancy and motherhood bring. I pay close attention not only to what is happening externally, but to how it is being lived internally.
Working with me is not about following a fixed plan or “doing birth right”. It is about feeling supported, informed and held - before, during and after birth.
Whether you are preparing for birth, navigating uncertainty, or seeking integration after your experience, my role is to offer a steady, respectful presence and a space where you don’t have to hold everything alone.

I help create space for trust, connection, and calm
so you can feel safe, seen, and never alone on this path.
